Found in our Digest Best biscuits, ginger has a long history of being used as relief for digestive problems for good reason. Multiple studies have shown that ginger can alleviate symptoms associated with motion sickness and is a carminitive (meaning it helps with wind). Anti-inflammatory compounds found in ginger, called gingerols may help to relieve osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis pain and the swelling often associated with that pain. Furthering its digestive Wellness properties, ginger has been studied for its ability to possibly inhibit cancer growth.

REPEL BUGS NATURALLY... With the summer months now upon us, bugs and ticks are out in full force and can prove to be a menace to all. Did you know that Geranium Essential Oil can be used as a natural bug repellent? We place 3 drops of oil on the inside of our dog's collar and not only does he smell divine, but we find that it really does keep the bugs away. *Please note that essential oil in full concentration can be a skin irritant so it should never go directly on skin. If your dog does not have a thick coat of fur, you can place 3 drops of geranium essential oil in 1 Tbsp. of coconut oil and mix together. You can use the oil directly on the coat, particularly around the neck and where the tail meets the spine. Consider using it on yourself as well! We love local British brands Tisserand (www.tisserand.com) & Baldwins (www.baldwins.co.uk) for essential oils as their products are pure and cruelty-free!
